Solid sushi takeout spot! We ordered the small party tray which came with a bit of everything, and added a blueberry mango roll as a last minute impulse buy (SO worth it). Total came to $35 I think, and had 4 meals worth of sush!
Is it the best sushi you'll ever have? No, but the value is great and the rice to filling ratio is awesome. The rice itself wasn't my favourite, but I still found myself going back for more. -

Went to this place because it's very close to my house. It's a small restaurant with an explosion of flavours. The waitress was friendly, attentive (very prompt on refilling our teas without us asking), and patient with me because I was taking a while to decide on my order.
There are lunch specials as well as kids' menu and special combos. My friend and I ordered:
Chirashi - a bowl of assorted sashimi. I wish they had put a description of what it was, I wouldn't have ordered tako sashimi if I knew. My favorite of the 3 items. The pieces came in pairs and there was a lot. Each piece was big and tasted fresh!
Tako sashimi - again, fresh and big octopus pieces. Tasted amazing with the pickled ginger
Spicy combo - least favourite. I was disappointed because I've had a better version of this back in Toronto (spicy mayo with big chunks of fish and tempura bits ontop) so my expectation was high. The spiciness wasn't achieved despite the use of siracha sauce. As well, either the spicy salmon or the tuna roll was a bit fishy. This combo came with a miso soup and that was really good -

Very decent sushi in the area
Service was courteous, the owner behind the prep bar was vr attentive to patron needs.
Has its own korean touch to the menu.
Rice used was tasty revealing that chef made the stretch to create good sushi. It kept its moisture from being stone-hard sushi when it was leftovers for dinner. -

Came here and had a basic avocado roll and veggie roll no mayo. Prices were very reasonable and the service was fast. The sushi was nicely packed. It was modestly busy when we went, however, there was enough seating. Nice and clean.
